A labelling error has been identified for a specific batch of Craft Botanics White Runtz, following a customer complaint about a different organoleptic profile (appearance and aroma) compared to previous batches.
Investigation with the manufacturer identified that the country of origin declared on the product label is incorrect, and an alternative approved Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient source (Thai biomass) was used during manufacturing instead of the intended supplier (Canadian biomass). Full analytical testing confirmed the batch complies with TGO 93 release specifications, physical quality parameters, and safety criteria.
This action was undertaken prior to TGA notification. |

Customers are to:
- quarantine stock of batch DF26E49 to prevent further supply or dispensing.
- complete and return the customer response form
- Customers will receive a prepaid return label after returning the response form to the sponsor, which can be used to return stock to the sponsor. Customers should not arrange return freight at their own cost. |
