Aidacare has updated the user manual for the Aspire Active Air 8 Pressure Care Air Mattresses. The updated manual provides enhanced guidance to support the continued safe and effective use of the product.
The key updates include:
- Additional warnings when using the device in the presence of oxygen enriched environments, including oxygen concentrators
- Additional setup instructions, in particular correct air-supply hose routing to not lift the mattress off the bed base, and when using bolsters to extend bed lengths
Improper set up and use of the device may result in electrostatic discharge, which may potentially cause a fire in oxygen-enriched environments. |

Customers are to:

2. Complete the acknowledgement section to state the updated user manual has been downloaded.
3. Review the updated sections with relevant users, carers and staff.
4. Replace or discontinue use of any previous copies of the manual.
5. Ensure the product continues to be used in accordance with the updated instructions.
