GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Australia Pty Ltd, following consultation with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, is recalling three batches of Children’s Panadol 5-12 Suspension Strawberry (200ml) and Children’s Panadol 5-12 Suspension Orange (200ml) due to the possibility of a small quantity of particulate contamination in an ingredient that is used to manufacture the finished product.
The particles may not be visible in the product and GSK has not received any complaints concerning these batches.
This recall is a precaution to avoid any potential for the product to cause an allergic reaction in a child and/or to adversely impact the products shelf life. |

GSK is conducting a Consumer Level Recall of all affected Batches. Consumers are asked to check the bottle label and/or the base of the outer box to see if they have product subject to this recall. Consumers are asked to not use product from the affected batches and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. This action has been closed-out on 11/05/2017. |
